CASH DEPOSIT PAYMENTS & FORGOTTEN REFERENCE NUMBER

Please send proof of payment or notification ASAP, in the case when a reference number is not able to be used OR forgotten & follow up during working hours. CASH DEPOSITED ORDERS & ORDERS PAID WITHOUT A REFERENCE NUMBER that we are unable to trace to order, will not be successful and the order will not be placed on time to be made

LEAD TIMES

Leona’s Cakery has a lead time of no less than 7 WORKING DAYS for:

  • Quotations & Questionnaires
  • Invoicing
  • A full payment

We will not accept late orders or short notice bookings (less than 7 working days from ordering to collection date). Incomplete/late or non-responsive bookings will automatically be cancelled and the spot will be given away to a pending order.

TAKE CARE OF YOUR ORDER

WE POURED OUR HEART AND SOUL IN MAKING IT SPECIAL FOR YOU.

  • Collect on the time you have arranged. We do the final touches just before collection to ensure quality.
  • Keep your order cold, safe and handled with care! It is a cake with real food ingredients, not an arts and crafts project or a toy.
  • Buttercream and chocolate will melt if not kept cold.
  • Lollies, sugar sails and flowers are fragile and finicky. It is advised to collect at the arranged time for best results.
  • Rainy weather will affect sugar art and cause a cake to sweat as well, gently pat your order with a dry clean kitchen towel paper. We cannot be held responsible for it.
  • Would you order French fries and only eat them the following day? It is recommended that your order is served or cut 1 – 2 hours after collection, at the time pre-arranged, for best results. Leftovers can be enjoyed the following day and after.
  • Cakes need to be handled and treated with care at all times

COLLECTION, CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS

  • We request that you kindly keep with the initial arrangements regarding your time of booking / collection, date and design once a final invoice has been sent and payment has been made. We hold the quality of your order and standard of the design to the highest regard and changes during the preparation period will compromise the final product.
  • We will sadly not accept changes to booking / collection dates, times and designs once a booking is finalised.
  • Cancellations will forfeit 100% of your payment in 7 or less than 7 days before the arranged collection or booking in the case of cancellation.
  • NO REFUNDS AVAILABLE once a booking is finalised as the process of preparations on your unique items are being processed and your spot has been reserved over pending customers. In in the event that a refund is insisted upon, a 25% refund fee will be charged to cover administrative costs and processing fees, and the cancellation must be made at least 8 days prior to the scheduled booking date

 

Food and Drink Policy

Under no circumstances are customers allowed to bring outside food or drinks to be consumed on the premises. We offer a variety of food and beverages for sale, and we encourage our customers to make use of our services.

  • Alcoholic Drinks: Customers may bring their own wine and champagne with prior consent from management; however, a corkage fee of R50 per bottle will be charged. Customers are responsible for any glassware damage resulting from their brought-in alcoholic beverages and will be charged accordingly.
  • Non-Alcoholic Drinks: Non-alcoholic champagne and other non-alcoholic drinks are not permitted to be brought into the premises as we offer a selection of these beverages for sale in our shop.
